There are homeless Mothers’ too.

Some Comments from Mothers’ wanting to
gain back their family.

“I miss my kids”
“My mother is raising them”
“My sister is raising them”
“They were taken away by their Dad”.
“The state took them and now they are in the system”

Right or wrong
We are not to judge

I do know they hurt. Some Moms we have helped overcome the past mistakes.
Some children we have been able to get back to Mom as Mom overcame the past.
Let the past be past.

Will you help Moms start a fresh life?
Give them hope for the future, not pain, loneliness, & hopelessness.

Mom’s are human, Not superhuman.

Have a heart, Mom’s do!

Bad decisions can be turned around with your help

Text Box: Those of you who are part of the Enterprise Zone we would ask that you please let us know. Rather than sending notice out to everyone it would save paper, postage and time if we could get a clear picture of those who are taking part and those who are not. We are trying to improve the system so we can do things in a more timely manner.
If you are a member, please cut out this box and send it with your donation..

Text Box: Feinstein Offers Another $1 million giveaway to fight hunger.

During March and April 2007 The Feinstein Foundation is helping non-profit Christian agencies nationwide raise funds. The donations need to be designated for the Feinstein challenge. These donations can include cash, checks and food items (that can be valued at $1.00 per item or pound). Feinstein’s past challenges to fight hunger have raised a record $620 million for agencies nationwide. If you would like to be part of this challenge, please write Feinstein Challenge on the memo line of your check. The results will be known by August 1st. We will let you know in the Newsletter exactly how much we received for the Mission.
MARCH TOTALS FOR FEINSTEIN: $1584.99

Luke 24:44-49

Then He said, ”When I was with you before, I told you that everything written about me by Moses and the prophets and in the Psalms must all come true.”  Then he opened their minds to understand these many Scriptures.  And He said, “ Yes it is written long ago that the Messiah must suffer and die and rise again from the dead on the third day.  With my authority, take this message of repentance to all the nations, beginning with Jerusalem: “There is forgiveness of sins for all who turn to me.”  You are witnesses of all these things.  And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised.  But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from Heaven.

THANK YOU!

Open Door Mission would like to sincerely thank Safeway store #914 in Loveland for all the help they have given.  What a blessing when a store such as Safeway is willing to give to those in need in our community!

YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!

There are many of you I owe an apology to.  We have had some problems with the Enterprise Zone records and certificates.  Unfortunately last year was a very bad year for the Administrative Office.  I was out for several months due to a bout with cancer.  Chris Loucks was kind enough to come in and cover for me.  The procedures for the Enterprise Zone were in the process of being improved and there were just a lot of mistakes that happened because processes were not clearly written down.  Please know that we appreciate each and every $ that is sent to support the Mission.  I know many of you who were caught in all the errors were justly upset and I don’t want that to be something the homeless shelter will have to carry the burden for.  The blame lies solely on the Administrative office and I am doing my best to see these problems are solved and will not recur.  For those of you who have been patient, my sincere thanks.                   Karen
